A Clear View of Your Eye Health Starts Here

Our exams go beyond “which is better, one or two.” They’re a complete check of your vision and eye health, with a practical approach to care.

Each appointment includes vision testing, a prescription update if needed, and screenings for eye conditions that can develop slowly.

Dr. Idris takes the time to explain everything she sees, so you know what’s normal, what to monitor, and what needs attention now.

Personalized Exams for Kids, Adults & Seniors

Vision needs change with age, and our exams are designed to adapt. Children are screened for focusing issues, binocular vision, and signs of myopia.

Adults receive updated prescriptions and early checks for dry eye, digital strain, and refractive changes.

Seniors are closely monitored for cataracts, macular degeneration, and other age-related conditions. We see patients starting at age five, and many stay with us for decades.

See the Same Doctor Every Time You Visit

Dr. Idris performs every eye exam herself, giving patients a consistent experience and a long-term view of their eye health.

This helps us spot small shifts in prescription, pressure, or retinal health that can signal larger changes down the line.

Patients appreciate knowing their eye doctor, feeling comfortable asking questions, and getting clear, practical answers they can trust.

Visual Field Testing, OCT, & Digital Retinal Imaging

When appropriate, your exam may include tools that support early diagnosis and ongoing monitoring. Our visual field test checks for blind spots or nerve damage.

The new OCT and fundus camera give a clear image of the retina and optic nerve, helping us screen for glaucoma, diabetic changes, and macular degeneration. These tools support real-time decision-making.

Diabetic Eye Exams & Systemic Health Monitoring

If you have diabetes, annual eye exams are essential. Dr. Idris performs diabetic retinal screenings and checks for swelling, leakage, or vascular changes in the back of the eye.

This is a key part of preventing vision loss and helps your primary care team stay informed about your eye health. Exams are adjusted based on your diagnosis and how long you’ve had the condition.

When Is The Right Time for Your Next Eye Exam?

Most patients benefit from an eye exam once a year. But if you have diabetes, vision changes, or other medical concerns, Dr. Idris may recommend more frequent monitoring. We make it easy to stay on top of your vision with clear follow-up schedules, reminders, and one-on-one support. If it’s been more than 12 months since your last exam, or you’ve noticed changes, it’s a good time to come in.
